Product Marketing Director (Individual contributor)

Role overview

Lead the technical marketing strategy for Equinix’s infrastructure product portfolio. You’ll translate complex infrastructure capabilities into compelling technical content, drive enablement, and support strategic customer deals with actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute technical marketing strategies for the infrastructure portfolio, aligning technical credibility with business relevance.
• Create high-quality technical assets including:
  • Videos, demos, deployment guides
  • Proof-of-value narratives and other technical content
• Lead technical enablement programs and provide strategic support for complex deals.
• Coordinate pilot and beta engagements with product teams to validate new features and accelerate customer success.
• Perform and maintain competitive analysis to inform product development.
• Maintain technical repositories and support product development with insights.

Requirements

• Deep fluency in the colocation market and hybrid cloud architectures, including infrastructure managed services.
• Strong communication and storytelling ability between deep technical detail and business narrative.
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and build programs from the ground up.
• Proven track record bridging product innovation and customer adoption across technical and business audiences.
• Experience influencing senior stakeholders across matrixed organizations.
• Experience working with vendor/partner ecosystems, including Dell, NVIDIA, HPE, Accenture, WWT, and others.
• At least 1+ year in a data center business and understanding of private cloud and hybrid cloud positioning.
• Strong understanding of AI infrastructure trends and how physical infrastructure enables enterprise AI.
• 12+ years experience in technical marketing, product management, or sales engineering within networking, cloud, or infrastructure.
