About the role

Role Overview

You’ll own the core platform product experience at Stocktwits, shaping how millions of investors and traders connect, share ideas, and engage with markets. The role focuses on evolving platform surfaces such as symbol pages, social streams, user profiles, discovery, and community tools.

Key Responsibilities

Core Platform Ownership

Own product strategy for core platform surfaces: symbol pages, social streams, user profiles, and community features
Partner with engineering and design to define, build, and ship high-quality experiences for new and power users
Define requirements/workflows that ensure quality, performance, and platform integrity
Coordinate with third-party vendors and data providers to evaluate, integrate, and maintain platform solutions

Discovery & Engagement

Improve how users discover and follow stocks, crypto, and other assets
Strengthen social/community mechanics (e.g., following users, discovering communities)
Surface relevant content using recommendation algorithms
Collaborate with Community and Support teams to ensure streams highlight the most relevant, high-quality conversations

Monetization & Platform Growth

Support monetization initiatives on core surfaces, including programmatic and native ads
Use data and user research to create improvements that deliver both user and business value
Support go-to-market efforts across web, iOS, and Android

Additional Responsibilities

Advocate for users by collecting/synthesizing insights from user research, product data, market and competitive data
Drive OKRs and KPIs for your product squad
Write product requirements and documentation
Plan and roll out go-to-market activities
Communicate priorities, strategy, and execution plans effectively

Requirements

4+ years of professional experience in Product Management (digital media or content partnerships), ideally in financial technology
Demonstrated success shipping B2C/consumer-facing products
Experience with Agile methodologies and rituals
Experience with consumer web metrics and analytics tools
Strong problem-solving and delivery mindset
Ability to apply data, research, and market analysis to inform product decisions
