Product Manager

Role Overview

Product Manager (PSS Live Services) at Sony Interactive Entertainment (PlayStation Studios). This role supports the central Live Services games team, partnering with multiple internal teams and external partners (e.g., analytics and marketing) to help game studios build, launch, and manage successful live service games.

Work arrangement: US-based permanent remote.

Responsibilities

• Support product management across multiple live and upcoming titles, helping studios build embedded live-service capabilities.
• Evaluate design specs and mockups; identify, escalate, and help mitigate risks.
• Contribute to feature definition and validation roadmaps throughout development cycles.
• Lead/co-lead initiatives to drive measurable improvements via hypothesis development, testing, and iteration.
• Communicate performance results and actionable recommendations to product and studio stakeholders, linking player experience to business outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for product performance growth and support improvement initiatives with analysis and reporting.
• Provide hands-on support across core competencies such as feature design, live content, and performance reporting.
• Share best practices to help studios stand up and evolve their processes and capabilities.

Requirements

• Product management experience for live service games, preferably AAA Console/PC titles.
• Ability to understand and abstract the design of game systems, features, and mechanics.
• Data fluency; experience partnering with analytics, research, and insights.
• Strong grasp of statistics, hypothesis testing, and experimental design for live game features.
• Demonstrated business and market awareness with analytical decision-making.
• Social intelligence: strong interpersonal skills, communication, and empathy for creative teams.
