About the role
Role Overview
Product Manager (SaaS) — Part-time (Fixed Term) Manage the full lifecycle of products within an assigned portfolio, from ideation and strategy through development, launch, and ongoing enhancements.
Responsibilities
- Define, refine, and execute product strategies and roadmaps aligned to business goals and customer needs.
- Conduct market and customer research to identify opportunities, validate requirements, and guide prioritization.
- Partner with engineering, design, and cross-functional teams to translate product vision into requirements and solutions.
- Manage the product development lifecycle: backlog prioritization, release planning, and launch readiness.
- Track product performance using qualitative and quantitative metrics, and iterate to improve adoption and business impact.
- Collaborate with stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Operations, and Customer Success to support go-to-market and product enablement.
- Act as the voice of the customer and evangelize the product internally and externally.
- Contribute to best practices, knowledge sharing, and mentoring/coaching peers as appropriate.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience in SaaS product or project management.
- Strong experience in product management and/or business analysis.
- Industry expertise in enterprise software and/or SaaS.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally and managing competing priorities.
- Experience with Agile (or other product development methodologies).
- Familiarity with product strategy areas such as go-to-market planning, pricing, positioning, and ROI analysis.
- Ability to present to executive audiences.
- University degree, and/or an MBA or equivalent certifications in product management.
Nice-to-Haves / Context
- Experience acting as an informal team lead or consultant to management.
- Ability to work independently toward long-range goals.
Contract & Work Schedule
- Fixed term, part-time: 3 days/week
- Duration: up to 12 months
