Product Manager

Role Overview

As a Product Manager at Roo, you’ll be an embedded builder on a squad focused on impact across the labor marketplace. You’ll support product strategy and execution while using AI tools to accelerate research, prototyping, and shipping.

Responsibilities

• Ship product using AI-assisted prototyping and an internal coding agent (Roomote) to move ideas from concept to production.
• Contribute to roadmap and prioritization, developing intuition for what drives impact toward the squad’s north star metric.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, analytics, operations, and marketing to deliver user and business value.
• Write clear, decision-ready PRDs, focusing on deep problem understanding and tradeoff analysis.
• Use data to inform decisions: run analyses (with AI help), stay fluent in dashboards, and surface when additional support is needed.
• Maintain an experimentation mindset to test and iterate on hypotheses quickly.
• Conduct research with guidance, using AI to synthesize market signals, competitive intelligence, and user feedback.
• Help keep product development fast and healthy via clear communication and tight documentation.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of product management experience (or equivalent experience driving product decisions and building features).
• User empathy and a customer-first mindset.
• Clear communication across functions and levels.
• Demonstrated and hands-on use of AI tools for research, writing, analysis, prototyping, or shipping.
• Comfort using quantitative and qualitative data, including doing analysis yourself.
• Eagerness to learn in ambiguity.
