About the role

Role Overview

As a Product Manager at Roo, you’ll be an embedded builder on a product squad focused on driving impact across the labor marketplace. You’ll partner closely with engineering, design, analytics, operations, and marketing, and you’ll use AI tools to accelerate research, prototyping, and shipping.

Responsibilities

  • Ship product by moving ideas from concept to production faster using AI-assisted prototyping and an internal coding agent (Roomote)
  • Contribute to roadmap and prioritization, aligning work to the squad’s north star metric
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (engineering, design, operations, marketing) to define and deliver solutions
  • Write decision-ready PRDs and do the core thinking (AI can help draft)
  • Use data to guide decisions, run analyses (with AI help), stay fluent in dashboards, and know when deeper support is needed
  • Adopt an experimentation mindset to test and iterate on hypotheses quickly
  • Run and synthesize research using AI tools for market signals, competitive intelligence, and user feedback
  • Maintain a fast-moving product process with clear communication and tight documentation

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of product management experience (or equivalent experience driving product decisions/building features)
  • Strong user empathy and a customer-first mindset
  • Clear communicator who can explain product work and rationale across functions and levels
  • Demonstrated use of AI tools in your workflow (for research, writing, analysis, prototyping, or shipping) — required
  • Comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data, including hands-on dashboard work and analysis
  • Eager to learn in ambiguity (role description cuts off after this point)
