About the role
Role Overview
Product Manager for enterprise productivity and collaboration (Microsoft 365 / M365) within a law-firm environment. You will own the productivity platform roadmap and drive adoption, value realization, and continuous improvement while ensuring security and governance.
Responsibilities
- Own product vision, roadmap, and full lifecycle for enterprise productivity and collaboration tools.
- Serve as product manager for the firm’s Microsoft 365 productivity platform (document creation, collaboration, communication, task management).
- Drive adoption and continuous improvement across the M365 suite, including:
- Power Platform, Microsoft Teams, Office apps
- OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Planner
- Copilot
- Partner with attorneys, business professionals, and leadership to understand workflows, pain points, and productivity gaps; translate insights into product priorities.
- Define and optimize end-to-end productivity workflows (creation, collaboration, sharing, review, task coordination) to reduce friction and improve efficiency.
- Establish success metrics (adoption, usage, satisfaction, and productivity outcomes) and use data/user feedback to guide decisions.
- Lead change management: feature rollouts, user communications, training strategies, and feedback loops to sustain adoption.
- Collaborate with Security, Risk, and Information Governance to ensure security, compliance, and appropriate governance without harming usability.
- Oversee testing and validation of new features/changes to minimize disruption and ensure a positive user experience.
- Monitor the market and Microsoft roadmap to identify new capabilities and opportunities.
- Balance strategic product ownership with hands-on operational oversight to maintain stability while evolving the platform.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner for productivity/collaboration/digital workplace tools.
- Deep expertise in Microsoft 365 productivity and collaboration capabilities and real-world knowledge-worker workflows.
- Strong understanding of law firm or professional services work patterns (document-centric and collaboration-heavy).
- Ability to shift focus from “delivered tools” to outcomes achieved (efficiency, usability, adoption, satisfaction).
- Experience managing products across the full lifecycle (roadmap, prioritization, rollout, adoption, optimization).
- Excellent stakeholder management across business users, IT, security, and vendors.
- Strong communication skills, translating complex technology into clear user/leadership benefits.
- Solid understanding of security, risk, and information governance considerations for productivity platforms.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 years of experience working with enterprise productivity/collaboration technologies in a legal or comparable professional services environment.
Work Requirements & Compensation
- 7-hour weekday shift; occasional travel for conferences and satellite office support.
- Compensation: $170,000–$190,000 plus bonus.
