Role Overview

As a Product Manager (Pro Fulfillment) at Thumbtack, you’ll lead product innovation and execution by shaping user experiences that simplify home care and help service professionals succeed. You’ll define the product vision, drive measurable outcomes, and maintain focus on high-impact initiatives in a virtual-first environment.

Key Missions

• Define and communicate product vision while challenging the status quo.
• Turn ambiguous ideas into clear business and product cases (with strong rationale and success criteria) and secure resources to execute.
• Drive high-impact initiatives from seed to scale, including sunsetting/culling initiatives that do not meet success criteria.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product execution and outcome delivery.
• Build cross-functional alignment to deliver customer- and business-relevant improvements.
• Apply strong judgment to decide what to pursue and what to stop.

Requirements

• Strong discernment and comfort working with AI.
• Proven track record launching impactful consumer mobile or web products.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to articulate complex customer problems clearly.
• Strong user-centric thinking and product sense; ability to empathize with users and craft great experiences.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving plus solid business acumen.
• Exceptional teamwork and collaboration, considering multiple perspectives and driving cross-functional alignment.
