Product Manager

Role overview

Join PowerSchool as a Product Manager in a full-remote role. You will collaborate with the Lead Product Manager to define and document product features, shape high-value enhancements, and drive delivery through Agile/Scrum.

Key missions / responsibilities

• Define and write product features and assist in identifying high-value extensions and enhancements.
• Follow the Agile development process and support the Scrum team’s execution.
• Participate in daily scrum ceremonies.
• Translate product directives into backlog items.
• Create user stories, develop acceptance criteria, and refine the product backlog.
• Communicate the product vision to technical teams and other departments.
• Represent and align backlog work with customer needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant work experience (or equivalent education such as a Bachelor’s degree).
• Strong understanding of Agile Values and Scrum methodology.
• Excellent grasp of the software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Ability to prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment.
• Strong problem solving, conflict resolution, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to handle a heavy workload, multiple projects, and frequent interruptions.
• Strong attention to accuracy/detail while staying results-oriented.
• Experience in business analysis, documenting use cases, and/or requirements gathering.

Nice-to-haves / additional details

• Occasional travel up to 10% for key moments (e.g., summits, training, customer meetings, company events).
• Subject to on-call policies requiring working hours outside the normal workday as needed.
