Product Manager-Platform

Role Overview

EDB is hiring a Product Manager – Platform to improve the end-to-end customer experience of its core platform offering. This role covers the customer journey from initial install and setup through onboarding, ongoing administration, upgrades, and day-2 operations.

Responsibilities

• Partner cross-functionally (engineering, design, support, sales, marketing) to identify friction and deliver a more seamless enterprise user experience.
• Define and prioritize product improvements across:
  • Installation and setup
  • Onboarding and usability
  • Ongoing operational workflows
• Translate customer and business needs into clear product requirements and roadmap priorities with engineering and design.
• Identify user journey friction and drive solutions that improve:
  • Adoption
  • Time to value
  • Ongoing usability
• Work with technical teams to ensure the experience is reliable, scalable, and aligned with enterprise needs.
• Support product launches with product marketing and enablement so internal teams are prepared for new capabilities.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager (or closely related role) shipping software products.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to break down complex problems into clear, actionable product requirements.
• Customer focus, with interest in improving onboarding, usability, and operational experiences.
• Solid understanding of product management fundamentals and modern software development processes.

Nice-to-haves / Edge

• Experience with installation, onboarding, administration, or other platform workflows.
• Familiarity with enterprise software and infrastructure/systems-oriented products.
• Experience partnering with support or customer-facing teams to address product friction.
• Technical background or comfort working closely with engineering on complex product areas.
