Product Manager

Role overview

Perforce is seeking a Product Manager to join the Puppet team. You will define and drive the product roadmap by researching problems, gathering data from internal/external stakeholders, and aligning business outcomes, customer needs, strategy, and technical plans through a clear roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate cross-functionally to define product enhancements aligned with customer needs, business objectives, and market opportunities
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis; gather customer feedback to inform product decisions and feature prioritization
• Define and refine product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with technical accuracy and feasibility
• Partner with engineering to ensure product goals align with technical implementation; guide architecture and technology choices
• Drive adoption of best practices in infrastructure automation, cloud infrastructure automation, and DevOps methodologies
• Monitor product performance using key metrics; iterate on features to improve product value and user satisfaction
• Stay current on industry trends and the competitive landscape to inform product strategy

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in product management (or similar)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficiency in English
• Ability to gather, analyze, and present data confidently
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
• Deep comfort with technical systems
• Ability to work cross-functionally and influence stakeholders
• Proven track record managing products in cloud infrastructure/DevOps (or AI-based products)

Nice-to-haves / Preferred technical depth

• In-depth knowledge of tools such as Terraform, Puppet, Kubernetes, EKS/GKE, Git, and Pulumi
