Product Manager (B2B SaaS)

Method Grid is seeking a Product Manager to lead and grow the product function alongside the Chief Product and Technology Officer.

Role overview

• Define and drive what “success” means for the product with the Chief Product and Technology Officer
• Run continuous, lightweight discovery with customers and internal stakeholders
• Translate real-world problems into measurable goals and actionable requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct discovery and synthesize insights into sharp problem statements
• Own and maintain crisp product documentation:
  • PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria
• Prioritise the roadmap for impact, effort, and risk; keep it honest as priorities change
• Collaborate closely with Design and Engineering to ship small, frequent improvements
• Instrument and analyse product performance using analytics and experimentation
  • Learn from experiments and iterate quickly
• Champion non-functional requirements early:
  • performance, reliability, security, and auditability
  • Build controls and audit trails expected by customers
• Coordinate releases and communicate what’s changed to the team; feed feedback into the next iteration

Requirements

• Strong ability to turn messy, real-world problems into simple, useful outcomes
• Customer empathy: close engagement, active listening, and synthesis into measurable goals
• Ability to keep a tidy backlog and make trade-offs clear
• Write crisp stories and acceptance criteria that engineering can execute
• Data-informed decision making (e.g., reading funnels/cohorts; using SQL when needed)
• Collaborative, low-ego mindset and clear communication with Design and Engineering
• Experience in B2B SaaS (important)
