About the role

Role Overview

Product Manager – Medium Voltage Products is responsible for guiding assigned product lines across their lifecycle—from ideation through launch, growth, and end-of-life. The role aligns product strategy with company goals and market needs while partnering with Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned product lines through the full lifecycle: planning, development, launch, growth, and end-of-life
  • Own product roadmap development and ensure alignment with company strategy
  • Perform competitive analysis and validate market requirements with Strategy and Sales
  • Create product documentation such as business cases, technical requirements, guide specifications, and sales tools
  • Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure successful product development and market launch
  • Support Steering Committee reviews, R&D processes, and New Product Introduction deliverables
  • Assist Sales and Marketing with product launch activities, training, and positioning support
  • Act as a product ambassador, communicating roadmap updates and performance to stakeholders
  • Monitor and analyze product performance and reporting to support continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in the power distribution equipment industry (preferably switchgear)
  • Strong technical knowledge of medium voltage power distribution products, markets, and applications
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and operate comfortably through ambiguity
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

  • Hybrid flexibility if on-site; otherwise fully remote
  • Up to 25% travel required

Compensation

  • $91,200 – $135,200 per year (based on location, experience, and qualifications)
