Product Manager Market Platform

Role Overview

As a Product Manager (Market Platform), you will own product outcomes for how Voltus customers participate in electricity markets. You connect customer needs, complex energy market mechanics, and the engineering team that builds systems to maximize financial return while meeting market and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and prioritize outcomes for the Market Platform product pillar aligned to business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering to align product requirements and manage day-to-day execution across initiatives and workstreams.
• Build and communicate investment theses grounded in user needs, market mechanics, and business goals.
• Own the product roadmap, vision, success criteria, and metrics for your product area.
• Validate hypotheses about market mechanics, user needs, and system behavior.
• Ensure solutions are operationally viable, adequately supported, and aligned with business and regulatory strategy.

Requirements

• 2–3+ years of experience as a Product Manager (or building products).
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong technical acumen (comfortable reviewing specs and partnering deeply with engineers).
• Self-starter capable of managing and prioritizing multiple workstreams.
• Ability to turn qualitative and quantitative insights into actionable product decisions.

• Experience with energy markets, market operations, or energy technology.

Remote / Location

• Fully remote, with working hours aligned to a US-based time zone.
• Requires authorization to work from home location in the US or Canada (no visa sponsorship).
