About the role
Role: Product Manager (m/f/d)
Valve is hiring a Product Manager to help evolve its Operators tools around distribution, ensuring customers’ brands and locations appear across major directory and platform listings (e.g., Google Business Profile, Apple Business Connect, Bing Places, and the Agent/Broker Marketplace).
What you’ll do
Product leadership
- Define and own the roadmap for Operator and Agent product areas, especially distribution initiatives across major listings platforms
- Translate vision/strategy into actionable plans and clear product requirements
- Partner with engineering to scope, build, and ship features that unlock customer value
- Work with stakeholders in Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to ensure product–market fit
Discovery & problem solving
- Partner with customers and internal teams to understand pain points and opportunities
- Conduct market research and analysis; synthesise insights and validate hypotheses via rapid iteration
- Use both quantitative and qualitative data to drive prioritisation
Delivery & execution
- Maintain a refined, prioritised product backlog; run effective Agile ceremonies
- Write clear epics and user stories for development teams
- Lead demos and collect feedback from cross-functional stakeholders
- Coordinate smooth internal/external releases and produce concise release notes
Impact & growth
- Define success metrics; track adoption, usage, and business value
- Explore new feature opportunities to expand reach and value
- Optimise for performance, scalability, and user experience
Requirements
- Shipped products or integrations in Sales/Marketing or listings technology
- Understand how platforms like Google Business Profile, Apple Maps, and Bing Places work (bonus for having built/integrated with them)
- Customer-obsessed, confident leading user discovery (with a toolkit of methods)
- Takes ownership from problem to solution; thrives in ambiguity
- Commercially minded—understands how product drives growth
- Communicates clearly and collaborates well across disciplines
- Data literate; can test, measure, and iterate
Nice to have
- Experience with APIs, directory integrations, location-based data, or similar
- Strong point of view balancing user value, technical feasibility, and commercial outcomes
- Experience in a fast-growing SaaS or platform business
