Product Manager

Role Overview

Technical Product Manager (AI & Patient Activation) for a healthcare technology / life sciences organization. You’ll own product strategy and execution across both emerging AI initiatives and an established patient recruitment/engagement platform.

What You’ll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap

• Own product initiatives from discovery → delivery → adoption
• Build and maintain product roadmaps aligned to business objectives
• Partner with leadership to identify opportunities for innovation and expansion
• Drive prioritization across competing business and customer needs

AI Product Development

• Support development of AI-powered internal and client-facing solutions
• Define requirements and evaluate opportunities with technical teams
• Help shape strategy for emerging AI initiatives and future platform capabilities
• Participate in product discovery, experimentation, and validation

Patient Activation Platform

• Lead a patient recruitment and engagement platform for clinical trial initiatives
• Partner with clients and internal stakeholders to identify enhancements and resolve business challenges
• Translate technical concepts into clear recommendations for non-technical audiences
• Support customization, implementation, and ongoing product evolution

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Collaborate with engineering, operations, commercial teams, and executive leadership
• Drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives
• Manage product documentation, requirements, and release planning
• Lead and mentor a small team, building accountability and collaboration

Requirements

• 5+ years of product management experience in a technical environment
• Experience in life sciences, healthcare technology, pharma, or commercial operations
• Proven ability to own products from concept through delivery
• Strong experience working directly with engineering and technical teams
• Excellent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to succeed in fast-paced, evolving environments
• Strong organizational/execution skills; manage multiple priorities
• Technical foundation in software development/computer science/engineering or related fields
• Working knowledge of:
  • Python
  • SQL
  • Modern web technologies (React and Node.js preferred)
• Ability to contribute technically (requirements definition, solution design, prototyping, hands-on problem solving)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI / machine learning or data-driven products
• Healthcare SaaS or clinical trial technology experience
• Consulting and/or client-facing product experience
• Experience managing direct reports or leading cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with CRM/workflow platforms such as Zoho

Success in This Role

• In the first 6–12 months, you’ll take ownership of existing initiatives, help shape and execute the AI roadmap, and enhance/evolve the platform.
