About the role
Role Overview
Product Manager (based in the United States) for a partner company building AI-powered digital healthcare products. Own product direction across patient-facing experiences and AI workflow solutions, turning complex healthcare and technical challenges into usable, trusted products.
Responsibilities
- Own product strategy and roadmap execution across key areas of a digital healthcare platform.
- Lead products 0-to-1: customer discovery, problem validation, MVP definition, prioritization, launch, and iteration.
- Identify where AI creates meaningful value while ensuring human oversight, safety, and reliable user experiences.
- Partner with engineering and design to define solutions, manage trade-offs, and deliver quickly.
- Translate customer, clinician, and operational challenges into product strategy and actionable requirements.
- Make data-driven decisions using business cases and evaluating impact vs. feasibility.
- Balance customer needs, technical constraints, regulatory considerations, and business objectives when prioritizing.
- Conduct ongoing research with users, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders.
- Help shape scalable product practices as the organization grows.
- Leverage AI tools/methodologies to improve product discovery, decision-making, and execution workflows.
Requirements
- Proven ability to own product strategy and outcomes, especially in 0-to-1 environments.
- Experience launching AI-powered products/features from concept through real-world adoption.
- Strong understanding of AI product trade-offs (e.g., prompting vs. fine-tuning, model limitations, explainability, and safety).
- Customer discovery and validation skills: turning ambiguity into clear opportunities.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering effectively and understand technical constraints without being an engineer.
- Experience in fast-paced startups/high-growth environments with short development cycles.
- Strong prioritization and decision-making skills; clear communication of trade-offs.
- Analytical/business mindset connecting decisions to measurable outcomes.
- Excellent written and verbal communication (adapt messaging for execs and engineers).
