Product Manager

Role Overview

Join HiredBuddy as a Junior Product Manager to help shape the product roadmap for its hiring platform. You’ll support the full product lifecycle—from ideation and research through requirements, delivery, and launch—in a remote, entry-level role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in defining product vision and strategy using market research, user feedback, and competitor monitoring
• Support creation and maintenance of roadmaps, backlogs, and sprint plans
• Write user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
• Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to align on goals and timelines
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies (sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives)
• Track and report product metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel)
• Conduct user testing and incorporate feedback to validate assumptions
• Help coordinate feature launches and prepare release notes
• Support customer-facing teams by answering product questions and gathering insights

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 0–2 years experience in product management or related roles (internships count)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment
• Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with product tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
• Passion for technology and desire to learn/grow in product management
