About the role

Role Overview

Join HiredBuddy as a Junior Product Manager and help shape the future of its hiring platform. You’ll support the product lifecycle from ideation through launch, working closely with engineering, design, and marketing in a remote, entry-level environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in defining product vision and strategy using market research, user feedback, and competitor analysis
Support creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, backlogs, and sprint plans
Write user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and sales to align goals and timelines
Participate in Agile ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives)
Track and report on key product metrics (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar)
Conduct user testing and use feedback to validate assumptions
Assist with feature launches and stakeholder coordination (including release notes)
Support customer-facing teams by answering product questions and collecting insights

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
0–2 years experience in product management/business analysis or related roles (internships count)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
Excellent written and verbal communication
Ability to prioritize and work effectively in a remote setting
Basic knowledge of Agile/Scrum

Nice-to-Haves

Familiarity with product tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana
Passion for technology and product development
