Product Manager — Games Discovery (Netflix)
Role overview
You will drive the evolution of Netflix’s games-specific discovery and engagement experiences. Working with cross-functional partners across Product, Tech, Design, and the Games Studio, you’ll define the strategy and translate it into well-scoped roadmaps and measurable product improvements across the Netflix experience.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to evolve or design new games discovery experiences, features, and capabilities
- Build and prioritize a product roadmap; take concepts from idea/validation through shipping, measurement, and iteration
- Create strategy memos and presentations to communicate team work and increase organizational transparency
- Influence alignment across teams (Design, Engineering, Consumer Insights, Merchandising, Data Science) to deliver high-quality products
- Develop business cases and measure impact with support from data science partners
- Deeply understand and socialize member/audience needs with Consumer Insights and Design collaborators
- Ensure the games member experience strategy fits into the broader platform vision (e.g., live streaming, podcasts)
Requirements
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment with effective tradeoff management
- Strong partnership skills and the ability to build alignment while still pushing progress when faced with differing viewpoints
- Proven success balancing requirements and priorities across cross-functional stakeholders
