Product Manager Full-Time · New York, Chicago or Charlotte

Role Overview

Oula Health is hiring a technically minded Product Manager to own and evolve its core clinical technology stack—spanning the EHR (Athena/Epic), patient portal, and care management platform. This role bridges product, operations, and health system integration, serving as the internal and external subject matter expert for EMR/EHR integrations.

Responsibilities

• EHR Configuration & Clinical Systems

  • Own day-to-day management of the core tech stack: EHR, patient portal, and care management platform
  • Manage Athena and Epic configuration end-to-end, including:
    • clinical templates, order sets
    • lab configurations
    • payer connectivity
    • access management for clinical and operations staff
  • Lead EHR integration efforts as SME, including FHIR/HL7 data exchange, health system IT coordination, and committed go-live timelines
  • Own and accelerate Epic integration timelines as new partners are onboarded
  • Maintain configuration integrity as new markets launch and care workflows evolve
  • Partner with IT on infrastructure; own the clinical systems layer

• Product Operations & Launch

  • Own bug intake and prioritization from Market Operations; standardize how Engineering receives/scopes/resolves issues and how status is communicated back to the field
  • Build structured launch toolkits and training materials for clinic teams
  • Coordinate end-to-end launches across Product, Engineering, and Operations
  • Identify opportunities for AI/automation to reduce manual administrative burden

• Standards & Knowledge Management

  • Build and maintain a clinical systems SOP library so new market setups are repeatable
  • Create onboarding and documentation materials so new hires can execute without needing you in the room

Requirements

• Technically minded product management experience focused on EHR/clinical systems and real integration/implementation ownership
• Ability to understand clinical workflow implications (e.g., why templates/order sets matter) and translate them into actionable engineering work (e.g., bug tickets)
• Experience coordinating ambiguous, cross-functional work with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to drive integration timelines and manage health system IT coordination

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Athena and Epic configuration and/or health system EHR integrations
• Experience leveraging AI/automation to streamline product operations workflows
• Strong documentation/enablement practices (SOPs, launch toolkits, training materials)
