About the role
Role Overview
Forbes is seeking a Product Manager to lead the continued evolution of the Forbes Intelligence platform, which powers global rankings and list franchises. This is a remote role focused on expanding and enhancing a core platform to support new verticals, geographies, and revenue opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Own and prioritize the product roadmap for expanding the Forbes Intelligence platform (rankings, verticals, geographies)
- Deliver platform enhancements that unlock monetization across subscriptions, enterprise, licensing, and data products
- Ensure rankings and list data are structured and maintained for downstream commercial use cases
- Partner with Sales to translate platform capabilities into scalable offerings, including pricing models and packaging
- Improve workflows that move rankings from research to structured data to product, reducing manual effort and accelerating time-to-market
- Standardize data structures and methodologies to enable scalability and repeatability across franchises
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data to define requirements and ship scalable platform improvements
- Define and track KPIs for platform adoption, operational efficiency, and revenue contribution
- Monitor performance, gather stakeholder feedback, and iterate on capabilities
- Use competitive intelligence and market demand to inform platform strategy
Requirements
- 2–5 years of Product Management experience, preferably with digital, data, or platform-based products
- Experience enhancing/scaling existing systems (not only building from scratch)
- Familiarity with AI-driven product features (e.g., generative AI, classification, data automation)
- Demonstrated experience supporting revenue-generating features or products
- Strong analytical skills and comfort working with structured data
- Ability to partner closely with Engineering and cross-functional stakeholders
- Interest in media, rankings, research, or intelligence-driven products
- Ability to manage projects independently within clear goals and strategic direction
Compensation
- Annual base salary range: $95,000 – $125,000
