About the role

Role Overview

Product Manager responsible for defining the strategy, roadmap, and execution for core platform APIs and developer tools. You will bridge technical infrastructure and user-centric product design to deliver a strong developer experience while maintaining high system reliability.

Responsibilities

Define and drive a multi-quarter product roadmap for API platforms, developer tools, and backend orchestration services.
Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications, user stories, and API contract designs.
Partner with engineering leads and systems architects to evaluate trade-offs across latency, scalability, and data consistency.
Define, track, and report product success metrics (e.g., API adoption, system uptime, developer friction, feature usage).
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: discovery, technical scoping, deployment, developer beta testing, and global release.
Run prioritization and sprint planning sessions and maintain a healthy, well-groomed backlog for your engineering team.

Requirements

4+ years of product management experience managing technical products such as APIs, developer platforms, or cloud infrastructure.
Strong technical background: ability to read code, write basic SQL queries, and understand system architecture (REST, gRPC, microservices).
Proven ability to ship technical products from concept to launch at scale.
Excellent communication skills; translate technical concepts into business value for non-technical stakeholders.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent practical experience).

Bonus

Experience with AWS services.
Experience with developer portals, CI/CD pipelines, and/or API gateways (Apigee, Kong).
