About the role

Product Manager (0 to 1)

You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle at Edia—scoping, defining, and shipping new products from scratch. You’ll partner closely with the CEO and act as the “CEO of your product,” ensuring your product vision translates into measurable outcomes for school administrators, students, and educators.

Responsibilities

Partner with the CEO to shape an compelling product vision
Conduct deep customer discovery by meeting with 100+ prospective clients to validate problems and solutions
Define product requirements, prioritize ruthlessly, and drive cross-team alignment
Build functional prototypes and front-ends using AI coding tools (and write code yourself to get to working product)
Refine products with strong attention to detail
Collaborate with engineering to ship high-quality products on time
Work with marketing to communicate the product vision and engage customers
Use data and customer feedback to iterate and expand key workflows
Define success metrics and hold yourself accountable to outcomes

Requirements

Experience building great products, ideally from scratch
5+ years of product management or product design experience in software
Ability to build front-ends yourself (or get far) using AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Replit
Extremely smart, high-agency, resourceful, and fast-moving
Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
Strong product “taste” and attention to detail
Deep commitment to improving outcomes for students and educators

Nice to have (implied)

Strong ability to prototype quickly and translate vision into shipped features using AI-assisted development tools
