Role Overview

Product Manager, Data Management & Platform (Individual Contributor) at HHAeXchange.

You will help define, govern, and scale how data is used across the healthcare platform, ensuring data that powers RCM, EHR, Payroll, Payments, and the Universal Patient Record is accurate, connected, and trusted—while serving as a foundation for AI-driven innovation.

Responsibilities

• Product-led data strategy: Contribute to the enterprise data platform product vision and roadmap.
• Define how core clinical, operational, and financial data is modeled, linked, and surfaced across the ecosystem.
• Partner with domain PMs (e.g., RCM, EHR, Payroll, Payments) to align data structures to real-world workflows.
• Identify opportunities to reduce data fragmentation and improve consistency across domains.
• AI enablement & innovation:
  • Champion AI/ML use cases built on the data platform.
  • Define and prioritize data requirements for predictive analytics, anomaly detection, automation, and recommendations.
  • Partner with data science and engineering to ensure training data quality, feature pipelines, and model outputs are governed and trustworthy.
  • Evaluate and recommend AI tools/platforms/frameworks to accelerate delivery.
  • Stay current on AI/ML trends (including generative AI, LLM applications, agentic workflows) and translate them into product opportunities.
  • Champion responsible AI (e.g., fairness, explainability, compliance for healthcare data).
• Healthcare data enablement:
  • Ensure data models support claims, visits, authorizations, care plans, payroll, and payer rules.
  • Translate regulatory/audit/reimbursement needs into data standards and traceability.
  • Improve data lineage and reconciliation across payer-provider workflows.
  • Support development of a Universal Patient Record that is complete, current, and usable.
• Cross-team execution:
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Architecture, and Platform teams on data services, APIs, and pipelines.
  • Write product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for data platform features.
  • Prioritize initiatives based on customer impact, revenue risk, and compliance needs.

Requirements

• 5–7 years of product management experience in healthcare IT.
• Strong grasp of data platform concepts.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear, actionable product decisions.
• Genuine enthusiasm for applying AI and machine learning to solve meaningful problems in home care.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience enabling AI/ML with governed, trustworthy healthcare data (training data quality, feature pipelines, and model output governance).
• Familiarity with generative AI/LLM/agentic workflows and responsible AI practices (fairness, explainability, compliance).
