About the role

Role Overview

CoAd is hiring a Product Manager for a structured, fast-moving HCM (human capital management) environment. You’ll own an assigned domain/feature area from day one, working closely with technical teams and exploring how AI can elevate product work and enable AI-native HCM capabilities.

What You’ll Own

AI-powered requirements definition and story-level clarity for your domain/feature area
Daily delivery partnership with Engineering and BA/QA (backlog management, grooming, and launch readiness)
Stakeholder communication and cross-functional coordination within your domain
Post-launch tracking, feedback synthesis, and iteration recommendations

Essential Job Functions

Discovery & Requirements

Run customer/user interviews and review support data to inform prioritization
Translate business needs and user problems into well-written product requirements and user stories
Collaborate with UX/UI to align design direction and functional scope

Delivery Partnership

Groom backlogs with BA, Engineering, and QA; clarify requirements and unblock delivery
Use AI-enabled tools and practices to improve product building/delivery
Maintain prioritized, sprint-ready backlogs
Support UAT and launch readiness; validate acceptance criteria

Measurement & Learning

Track feature adoption and key usage metrics post-launch
Synthesize user feedback and support trends to find iteration opportunities
Prepare concise readouts for product and leadership

Stakeholder Communication

Keep stakeholders updated on scope and delivery progress
Escalate risks and trade-off decisions clearly and timely
Document product decisions and rationale

Measures of Success

Backlog health: story readiness, grooming cycle time, reduced sprint churn
Delivery accuracy: planned vs. completed work
Adoption: feature/capability adoption within your area
Quality: defect rate and rework within owned scope
Clarity: reduced ambiguity, fewer blockers, consistent communication

Required Skills & Experience

4–6 years of product management experience with direct ownership of backlog and delivery process
Experience in HCM, fintech, or another regulated, workflow-driven SaaS environment (preferred)
Experience using AI tools to accelerate the development lifecycle and delivering AI-native capabilities in SaaS
Strong requirements writing and stakeholder communication skills
Comfortable collaborating directly with Engineering and BA/QA in an Agile model
Analytical, organized; able to manage multiple workstreams precisely
Growing product-metrics command and outcome-oriented thinking
