About the role

Role Overview

Join Baseten as a Core Product Manager to shape the developer experience for building, deploying, and managing AI applications on the platform. You’ll own and drive the roadmap for user-facing product surfaces including APIs, SDKs, UI workflows, and integration touchpoints.

Key Missions

Own the roadmap for Baseten’s core product surface (APIs, UI, and developer workflows)
Drive development of user-facing capabilities, turning complex ML infrastructure into seamless, intuitive experiences
Collaborate with customers to understand pain points and define solutions that simplify AI deployment

What You’ll Bring

Deep empathy for developers; ability to translate technical complexity into simple, usable products
Experience driving cross-functional alignment across Design, Engineering, and GTM
4+ years of Product Management experience in developer tools, SaaS, or ML platforms
Engineering background (CS/EE or equivalent hands-on software engineering experience)
Proven ability to define product success metrics and iterate using data and feedback
Familiarity with AI/ML workflows and inference products
Experience building products for technical users (e.g., APIs, SDKs, dashboards)
Background in developer experience and/or product-led growth
