About the role
Role Overview
Join Filevine as a Product Manager II for the API Platform team. You’ll help drive execution across a portfolio including LOIS Workflows, DataBridge, and Platform MCP, moving from day-one impact toward full product ownership as the portfolio matures.
Key Missions & Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day backlog management and sprint coordination for assigned workstreams, ensuring Engineering has a clear, prioritized, well-scoped queue.
- Synthesize feedback from beta customers, partners, and internal teams into actionable, well-scoped issues connecting user pain to product change.
- Lead cross-functional ceremonies (standups, refinements, implementation syncs) with Engineering, Design, Support, and Go-to-Market, ensuring clear outcomes and owners.
- Support beta programs by translating learnings into product improvements.
Requirements
- Ability to independently own workstreams end-to-end (run meetings, synthesize stakeholder input, drive decisions) while aligning to an established product vision and architectural direction.
- Agile/Scrum experience, including managing a product backlog.
- Strong written communication: draft specs, status updates, and customer-facing release notes with minimal editing.
- Analytical, data-informed prioritization using evidence such as customer feedback, usage data, and support trends.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities while staying focused on business outcomes.
- Ability to run meetings, synthesize competing inputs, and drive to decisions.
- Comfortable with technical concepts such as APIs, OAuth, webhooks, and data pipelines (read and understand engineering tickets; no coding required).
- Hands-on AI tool usage (e.g., Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT) to build prototypes, automate processes, or develop workflows (not required to be an engineer).
- 2–5 years of product management or closely adjacent experience (technical PM, solutions engineering, product ops, technical program management) in SaaS.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in Legal Tech, law firm operations, or other regulated industries involving compliance and data governance.
- Familiarity with workflow automation platforms and/or integration tooling.
- Experience shipping for developer/integrator users.
- Experience with beta programs, customer advisory boards, or partner onboarding.
Education
- B.S. or M.S. in business, engineering, computer science, information systems, or related field, or equivalent direct work experience.
