About the role

Role Overview

Join Abnormal Security as a Product Manager II in a high-ownership, high-autonomy role. You will own product definition and roadmap, lead cross-functional execution, and partner closely with GTM and customer-facing teams to deliver product and business impact.

Key Missions & Responsibilities

  • Own product definition and roadmap for your areas of responsibility, driving product discovery using customer and market insights.
  • Lead cross-functional execution from concept to launch with Engineering, Design, Data, and GTM to scope solutions and ensure high-quality features.
  • Define and track product KPIs, analyze outcomes, and run data-informed iterations to improve customer value and business impact.
  • Contribute to product strategy and champion continuous improvement through metrics and operational excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams, communicating clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of product management experience in software, preferably B2B SaaS or other technical domains.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; able to structure ambiguous problems and define success metrics.
  • Demonstrated end-to-end product ownership across at least one full product or major feature lifecycle.
  • Proven experience working on highly technical products, partnering closely with engineering and reasoning about technical tradeoffs.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS / B2B, especially with security, infrastructure, or platform products.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with Engineering, Design, and GTM.
  • Background as a software engineer or equivalent hands-on experience with complex technical systems.

Nice-to-Haves / Preferred

  • Prior experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or adjacent domains (e.g., identity, posture management, email security).
  • Experience building platform capabilities used by multiple teams (e.g., RBAC, notifications, shared services, extensible APIs).
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, analytics platforms, Gong, Salesforce, and modern AI/UX prototyping tools.
