Product Lead

Role Overview

As a Product Lead at BioRender, you will own a meaningful product area end-to-end—from problem discovery and vision through execution, launch, measurement, and iteration. This is not a roadmap-maintenance role. You’ll lead a small, high-impact team of engineers and designers and focus on market impact and user outcomes, not just shipping features.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve a product area end-to-end: problem discovery, vision, delivery, launch, measurement, and market success
• Define and deliver features/products users genuinely love and rely on
• Set product vision, strategy, and roadmap for your area, balancing short-term wins and long-term bets
• Be accountable for success metrics, adoption, and user impact
• Identify opportunities for AI to enable new workflows, automation, or intelligence; partner with engineering and design to implement responsibly
• Use data from millions of users plus strong product intuition to make clear prioritization tradeoffs
• Spend time with users: talk to them, observe workflows, and validate ideas
• Lead and inspire a cross-functional team by providing clarity, context, and decisive judgment
• Use AI tools in your own work (e.g., research synthesis, prototyping, analysis) to speed up execution
• Help evolve BioRender’s product culture, principles, and operating practices as the company scales

What You Bring

• 5+ years of product management experience (ideally in fast-growing SaaS)
• High ownership/autonomy, including defining what to build (not only how to build it)
• Strong cross-functional leadership experience and ability to influence toward outcome-oriented goals
• Demonstrated product judgment: synthesize user insights, data, and business context into decisions
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to explain complex ideas simply
• Strong alignment with BioRender’s mission and excitement about building for scientists
• Background in life sciences is a plus (curiosity about science is required)
• Founder/early-stage or 0→1 experience is a strong plus
