Product Engineering Manager - Gas Turbines

Role Overview

Product Engineering Manager (Gas Turbines) for a leading US turnkey energy solutions company. This is a permanent position with relocation assistance provided, and work can be remote with presence in Missouri or Texas.

The role reports into product management leadership and focuses on building and executing the technical product roadmap for gas turbine-related offerings, leveraging deep expertise in rotating equipment and driving cross-functional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned to company goals and market trends.
• Gather, prioritize, and communicate product requirements with stakeholders and internal technical teams.
• Lead the full product development lifecycle from concept through launch, coordinating engineering, supply chain, and QA.
• Manage delivery planning: timelines, deadlines, risk management, and ensure products are delivered on time and within budget.
• Ensure the product is validated and meets quality standards prior to launch.
• Use strong technical knowledge of rotating equipment, preferably gas turbines, to translate complex concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate across functions (e.g., engineering, marketing, sales, customer support) to ensure alignment and successful execution.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or an Engineering-related discipline.
• Proven experience as a Technical Product Manager.
• Strong hardware product development understanding: design, manufacturing, and validation; familiarity with hardware development methodologies.
• Demonstrated product lifecycle management and successful product launches.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to clearly articulate complex ideas.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data-driven decision-making.

Nice to Have

• Cross-functional experience in Renewables, Aerospace & Defense, or Oil & Gas.
• Deep expertise in gas turbines / rotating equipment to elevate technical product execution.
