Product Designer

Role Overview

As a Product Designer at YipitData, you’ll help define how users interact with an AI-powered insights product. You’ll design workflows, interfaces, and end-to-end experiences that make complex data feel intuitive, trustworthy, and actionable, working across product, engineering, and data/AI teams.

Responsibilities

• Product Design & User Experience (end-to-end)
  • Own key product workflows from discovery through launch
  • Design experiences for users to explore data, ask questions, and generate insights
  • Translate complex AI and data concepts into clear UX
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to define problems, evaluate solutions, and ship high-quality products
• AI & Agent Experience Design
  • Define interaction patterns across search, conversation, analysis, and insight-generation
  • Build trust in AI outputs via clarity, transparency, and explainability
  • Create interaction patterns for new AI-powered capabilities and evolving customer workflows
  • Contribute to product evolution as datasets and agent capabilities expand
• Research & Product Strategy
  • Conduct user research and synthesize qualitative/quantitative feedback
  • Identify opportunities to improve usability, adoption, and customer value
  • Shape product direction based on customer pain points and needs
• Design Systems & Quality
  • Contribute to shared design systems and standards
  • Maintain consistent, scalable, high-quality experiences as the product evolves
  • Partner with Engineering to preserve design fidelity and usability across releases

Requirements

• 3+ years designing B2B SaaS, enterprise software, analytics, or data products
• Portfolio showing strong product thinking, UX design, and visual design craft
• Experience designing complex workflows (dashboards/analytics tools) or AI-powered products
• Strong collaboration with Product Managers and Engineers
• Ability to operate in ambiguity and design from first principles
• Proven ability to simplify complex information into intuitive experiences
• Proficiency with Figma
• Entrepreneurial mindset and experience delivering impactful products

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience designing AI/LLM-powered products, data platforms, analytics products, or decision-support tools (strongly preferred)
