About the role

Role overview

Product Designer (UI/UX) for Visilant’s core healthcare products across mobile and web. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role where you design user-centered workflows used by community health workers, ophthalmologists, and administrative staff in real clinical settings.

Responsibilities

Own the end-to-end design lifecycle: user research/workflow discovery, prototyping, visual design, and developer handoffs
Design comprehensive user experiences for mobile and web applications
Translate complex clinical and operational workflows into accessible, intuitive interfaces
Create user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs
Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback from clinicians and administrators
Collaborate with engineering to ensure accurate implementation and maintain design quality
Develop and maintain a scalable design system and reusable UI components
Iterate designs based on real-world deployment feedback
Support external visual communications (e.g., presentations, posters, brochures, marketing) and maintain cohesive brand/visual identity

Requirements

3–6+ years of product/UI/UX design experience with a portfolio covering mobile and web
Proficiency in Figma (wireframing, prototyping, design system management, developer handoff)
Strong user-centered design and iterative design skills, including usability testing
Experience translating complex workflows into usable experiences (healthcare/enterprise preferred)
Excellent communication and collaboration across engineering, clinicians, and product teams
Ability to maintain visual consistency across platforms and brand touchpoints

Nice to haves

Experience with healthcare/clinical or enterprise product contexts
Experience creating stakeholder-facing visual communications (presentations, posters, marketing materials)
