Product Designer (UI/UX)

Role Overview

BJAK is hiring a Product Designer (UI/UX) to design intuitive, high-quality experiences across its financial products. You will solve product problems through thoughtful interface design, collaborating with product managers and engineers to simplify complex financial workflows into experiences that feel fast, intuitive, and trustworthy.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end product experiences from concept to production.
• Translate product requirements into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces.
• Design experiences across insurance, payments, claims, investments, and other financial products.
• Build and maintain scalable design systems and reusable UI components.
• Partner with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Improve usability via rapid iteration using product data and user feedback.
• Maintain consistency across mobile and web experiences.
• Continuously refine interactions, accessibility, and overall product quality.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience designing digital products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking and excellent visual design (required).
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and interactive prototyping.
• Strong understanding of design systems, component libraries, and responsive design.
• Strong understanding of information architecture and user flows.
• Excellent visual design skills (e.g., typography, spacing, layout, interaction design).
• Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive experiences.

Location & Work Model

• Based in the UK (Hybrid).
• Expected to work from the UK office at least 3 days per week.
• English is the primary working language; strong English communication required.
