Product Designer

Role Overview

You will join the Trust & Risk team as a Product Designer, designing scalable systems that protect the marketplace, enhance user trust, and support fair, secure experiences for buyers and sellers.

What You’ll Do

• Design end-to-end experiences that safeguard marketplace integrity while minimizing friction for legitimate users.
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, data scientists, operations, and policy experts to turn policies and risk signals into intuitive product workflows.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs for Trust & Risk challenges such as:
  • appeals processes
  • account standing and compliance experiences
  • internal review tools
  • real-time interventions during live shows
• Make enforcement decisions transparent, fair, and actionable through user-centered interfaces.
• Support internal teams with tooling for reviewing reports, moderating content, investigating fraud, and resolving user issues.
• Contribute to and maintain the design system, advocating for accessibility and inclusive design.
• Use data, research, and user feedback to iterate on tools and reduce harm.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio of shipped work.
• Strong interaction and systems thinking; able to untangle complex flows and edge cases.
• Proficiency with design/prototyping tools such as Figma, and experience with tools like Protopie and Framer.
• Deep understanding of UX principles: user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience designing zero-to-one products or new platforms in ambiguous environments.
• Bonus: experience in e-commerce, marketplace platforms, or supply chain management.
