Product Designer

Role Overview

Product Designer with high ownership across BarnTalk and Barn360. You’ll shape end-to-end product UX—from early research and user flows to visual design, prototyping, and collaboration with product and engineering to ship improvements.

Responsibilities

• Own the full product design lifecycle: research, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, high-fidelity UI, and developer handoff
• Lead design projects independently (from problem framing to initial implementation)
• Create intuitive, data-rich user experiences (dashboards, alerts, visualizations)
• Collaborate with product managers and engineering to scope, iterate, and maintain high-quality UX
• Participate in evolving the company design system to ensure consistency and scalable development
• Conduct and apply learnings from user research, usability testing, and feedback sessions
• Stay current with industry trends and incorporate best practices

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience designing shipped digital products
• Strong portfolio showing UX thinking and visual craft, including process documentation
• Proficiency in Figma, including work within shared component libraries
• Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience collaborating directly with product managers and engineers
• Experience designing data-heavy products (dashboards, analytics, visualizations)
• Ability to translate complex/technical information into simple, scannable designs

Nice to Haves

• Experience owning or leading features/projects with minimal supervision
• Demonstrated ability to expand scope and lead impactful projects in a fast-paced, remote setting
