About the role
Role Overview
Staff Product Designer at Nourish, reporting to the Head of Design and working within a small, collaborative team focused on empathy, trust, and continuous improvement. You will help set the strategic and design foundation for product expansion, taking projects from conception through execution and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Establish and promote best practices for information architecture across the platform to maintain consistency as offerings expand.
- Design best-in-class user experiences for patients, providers, and growth teams; iterate on existing features and develop new ones.
- Lead qualitative user research efforts, including:
- Building prototypes
- Conducting interviews
- Creating surveys to validate ideas.
Requirements
- 10+ years designing compelling digital products.
- Strong customer- and craft-oriented mindset with excellent design fundamentals.
- Ability to translate user needs into high-quality product experiences.
- Proven experience taking ideas from concept to implementation, emphasizing shipping and iteration.
- Comfort working in ambiguous environments, forming strong opinions, and driving decisions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication; can explain ideas clearly and concisely.
- Willingness to own tasks end-to-end (e.g., user interviews, prototype development, content refinement).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-expectation environment.
