Product Designer

Role: Product Designer (Stripe)

Stripe is hiring Product Designers to partner with product teams across areas such as Payments, Revenue & Finance, Seller & Commerce Experiences, Dashboard, Billing, Terminal, and more.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product design work for a specific business area, partnering closely with other designers.
• Deliver high-quality, user-centered designs that evolve key product surfaces and improve overall UX.
• Design, prototype, and test intuitive experiences to make complex flows feel simple.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Engineers to define long-term strategy and near-term tactics.
• Produce high-quality UIs and maintain a high bar for design craft.
• Share work in design reviews and contribute to a culture of feedback and iteration.
• Work with UX Research to inform and validate design decisions.

Minimum Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant product design experience.
• Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals and polished UI craft.
• Experience partnering cross-functionally to shape product direction.
• Ability to balance user needs, business goals, and stakeholder inputs.
• Strong communication skills for design rationale across disciplines.
• Experience working across product areas on ambiguous/complex problems.
• Strong influence skills to guide product direction.
• Ability to present work clearly to leadership.

Preferred Qualifications

• Team matching is expected to occur during final stages; Stripe may consider candidates for other orgs based on experience, location, and interests.

Work Model

• Hybrid or remote: Remote is defined as living 35+ miles (56+ km) from a Stripe office.
• Office expectation: local office or with users at least 50% of the time per month for in-office assigned Stripe employees.
