Role overview

Product Designer (Senior) for the Seller Experience team, focused on building and scaling local commerce experiences within a large eCommerce marketplace. The role is UI- and prototyping-focused, bringing new product concepts to life through rapid iteration and high-quality execution.

Responsibilities

  • Create high-quality UI design and rapid clickable prototypes for new and evolving local marketplace features.
  • Design and iterate on end-to-end user flows, connecting buyer and seller interactions across discovery, engagement, and transaction touchpoints.
  • Develop new interaction models and UI patterns (e.g., maps, proximity-based browsing, dynamic interfaces).
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Design to deliver scalable, production-ready solutions.
  • Iterate quickly based on feedback and testing, refining designs in a fast-paced experimental environment.
  • Evolve and leverage design systems using existing components and introducing new patterns when needed.
  • Communicate design thinking via visuals, prototypes, and stakeholder presentations.
  • Support a multi-year initiative for local commerce, including pickup, delivery, and proximity-based experiences.

Required qualifications

  • 5+ years of product design experience, with strong emphasis on UI design and prototyping.
  • Proven ability to execute quickly with high-fidelity prototypes and strong interaction design.
  • Strong visual design skills: layout, typography, interaction patterns.
  • Experience on consumer-facing digital products, especially marketplace/commerce.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguous, evolving environments with shifting priorities.
  • Expertise in Figma and prototyping tools for mobile and web.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication with product managers and engineers.
  • A portfolio that emphasizes real shipped product work, UI execution, interaction design, and prototype examples (including micro-interactions).
