About the role
Role Overview
Join DoorDash’s New Verticals Fulfillment team as a Product Designer. You’ll design AI-first products that adapt in real time to shape end-to-end experiences for Dashers and Shoppers, improving decision quality, efficiency, and earnings across the platform.
Responsibilities
- Define and lead high-impact projects from concept through shipped product, ensuring measurable outcomes.
- Translate ambiguous, cross-team challenges into clear, actionable work streams.
- Design end-to-end solutions across workflows and systems (not just individual screens).
- Build and utilize LLM-powered tools, creating new ones when needed.
- Deliver production-ready prototypes with a high standard of craft.
- Influence product roadmaps using insights from data, design artifacts, and user feedback.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Product Management, User Research, Analytics, and Strategy & Operations.
- Mentor and support other designers, raising team capabilities.
Requirements
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, systems thinking, and leadership.
- Strong proficiency prototyping with code and using LLMs as core design tools.
- Experience designing in complex, fast-paced marketplace or consumer tech environments.
- Ability to convert ambiguous problems into actionable solutions.
- Experience designing across workflows and systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to influence roadmaps.
