About the role

Role Overview

Product Designer at Qventus (remote, Canada). You’ll collaborate with product managers, clinical experts, data scientists, and engineers to design impactful experiences for pre-surgical and post-surgical workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Craft intuitive, efficient user experiences across complex healthcare workflows.
  • Organize visually complex information into compelling and usable layouts.
  • Build and test interactive prototypes with customers.
  • Contribute to and evolve the design system.
  • Deliver end-to-end solutions that account for different user scenarios across web and mobile.
  • Advocate for users by helping teams discover, define, and prioritize customer needs using qualitative and quantitative insights.
  • Ensure designs meet accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 and ADA).

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Product Design experience.
  • BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, UX Design, Service Design, or equivalent.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating impact, including:
    • Visual design & information architecture (structure, clarity, and visual excellence across flows, states, and micro-interactions)
    • Customer advocacy and insight-driven prioritization
    • Mastery of Figma (components, cohesive design, flows)
    • Rapid prototyping in Figma
    • Design systems experience (components, variables, variants)
    • Service design capability (mapping workflows and journeys)
    • Accessible design practices (WCAG 2.2, ADA)

Nice to Have

  • Prototypes demonstrating animations and micro-interactions
  • Ability to visualize data and actionable insights beyond basic dashboards
  • Experience delivering B2C/B2B UX in highly regulated industries (e.g., healthcare, fintech, logistics, government)
  • Experience with AI/LLMs
  • Ability to write front-end code to implement designs
