About the role

Role: Product Designer

As the second Product Designer at Pogo, you’ll help lead product design and creative direction for a new consumer insights product, including a B2B platform and a consumer app.

Responsibilities

  • Design core product experiences end-to-end, from early exploration through launch and iteration.
  • Craft polished, high-trust interfaces that showcase the value of Pogo’s data and AI technology.
  • Sweat visual and interaction details: layout, typography, spacing, color, motion, and interactions.
  • Help define the product roadmap and establish foundations for the design language, design systems, and design culture.
  • Find ways to ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering and GTM as one of two designers.

Requirements

  • Experience designing software products.
  • Strong, opinionated design quality with a high bar for what “great” looks like.
  • Ability to design quickly and efficiently (using Figma).
  • Comfortable making near-term tradeoffs and taking shortcuts when needed, with awareness of how to improve later.
  • Full-stack product design capability: design from scratch and partner effectively with product and engineering to ship.
  • Product intuition focused on simplicity and clarity.
  • Willingness to revisit intuition as new user data arrives.
  • Active exploration of best-in-class design references (e.g., Twitter, Mobbin).

Nice-to-haves

  • Startup experience.
  • Experience designing AI interactions.
  • Experience designing enterprise-grade products.
  • Use of LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) within your design workflow.
  • Experience using qualitative interviews and direct customer feedback to shape decisions.

Why you might be excited

  • Build early design for an up-and-coming enterprise product.
  • Use qualitative research and feedback to tailor design for enterprise needs.
  • Fast feedback loops (hours, not weeks).
  • Opportunity to help shape design culture from the ground up.
