Product Designer

Role overview

You will be Pogo’s second Product Designer, helping lead product design and creative direction for a new consumer insights offering. The work spans an up-and-coming B2B platform and a consumer app with millions of users, used by some of the largest companies in the world.

Responsibilities

• Design core product experiences end-to-end: from early exploration through launch and iteration
• Craft polished, trust-building interfaces that highlight the value of Pogo’s data and AI
• Sweat the details: layout, typography, spacing, color, motion, and interactions
• Help define the product roadmap and establish foundations for design language, design systems, and design culture
• Ship high-quality work in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment; make near-term tradeoffs when needed
• Operate as one of two designers and collaborate closely with engineering and GTM

Requirements

• Experience designing software products
• Strong ability to work quickly and efficiently using Figma
• High bar for design quality with strong opinions on what “great” looks like
• Actively seek out best-in-class references (e.g., Twitter, Mobbin)
• Use LLMs (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) in your design workflow
• Relentless iterative mindset; willing to explore, refine, and sometimes scrap work to improve the product
• Full-stack product design: ability to design from scratch and partner cross-functionally with product and engineering
• Strong product intuition focused on simplicity and clarity; willing to update views based on user data
