Product Designer (Marketplace)

Role Overview

Join Thumbtack as a Product Designer (Marketplace) on a cross-functional team of product designers, researchers, and content designers. You’ll partner with engineers and product managers to design innovative, engaging user experiences with meaningful impact on both user and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, explore, and iterate on user experiences.
• Own projects from conception through launch, using data and user research to measure success.
• Rapidly generate multiple concepts and interactive prototypes, test, learn, and iterate to solve product problems.
• Contribute to roadmapping, feature design, and product quality.

Requirements

• 5+ years of product design experience.
• Ability to balance high-quality craft with speed, agility, and iterative experimentation.
• Strong prototyping skills, including creating interactive prototypes to validate concepts.
• Experience designing customer experiences that led to measurable, sustainable growth.
• Portfolio demonstrating impactful work and a clear design process.
• Strong UX, interaction, and visual design capabilities with a human-centered mindset.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
