About the role

Product Designer (GovPilot)

Design and manage product work end-to-end within small AI-native pods.

Responsibilities

Partner closely with customers: regularly talk with users and listen for what’s broken, confusing, or needed
Own the design process end to end: wireframes, flows, prototypes, and final specs
Write and prioritize product intents and acceptance criteria
Run planning, grooming, and retros
Prototype and iterate directly in AI/dev tools such as Claude Design or Make
Communicate what shipped and why it matters to users; keep stakeholders updated on changes

Requirements

3+ years of product design experience, plus meaningful PM experience
Strong customer research instincts (including running interviews and applying learnings)
Fluency in AI design and development tools (e.g., Lovable, Claude, Make, or comparable)
Proven ability to run sprints (not just attend)
Product instincts focused on user outcomes, not just features
Clear communicator with non-technical stakeholders (written and verbal)
Comfortable with ambiguity and working at pace

Bonus

Experience in GovTech, B2B SaaS, or enterprise software for non-technical buyers

Location / Logistics

Anywhere in the USA (no relocation required)
Reports to Director of Product and Design
Start: as soon as possible
