About the role

Product Designer (Remote, USA)

As a Product Designer at Frontline Education, you’ll help create intuitive, engaging experiences that empower K-12 educators and administrators. You’ll work within an empowered product team to explore user needs, define problems, and co-create solutions—moving from discovery through delivery with Product Managers and Engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Product and Engineering to research and define customer problems using:
    • User interviews
    • Journey mapping
    • Usability testing
    • Concept validation
  • Translate research findings into actionable design opportunities and hypotheses.
  • Design accessible, scalable solutions using wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Apply systems thinking to ensure consistency and scalability across the design system.
  • Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are technically feasible and well executed in production.
  • Iterate quickly using feedback, balancing user needs, business outcomes, and technical realities.
  • Use analytics, feedback, and experimentation to measure design impact and inform iteration.
  • Champion user-centered design and accessibility standards.
  • Explore emerging technologies (e.g., AI and automation) to elevate user experience and innovation.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience designing digital products (preferably SaaS or enterprise).
  • Strong interaction and visual design skills.
  • Proficiency with Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
  • Experience conducting or collaborating on user research and usability testing.
  • Ability to simplify complex workflows into intuitive interfaces.
  • Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and design system best practices.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills across product, engineering, and business teams.
  • Comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced, feedback-rich environment.

  • Strong curiosity and excitement about AI, and interest in using AI to improve experiences for users and teams.
