About the role

Product Designer (Full Remote)

Join Extend as a Product Designer to support feature development and create elegant, user-friendly experiences for consumers, merchants, and internal users.

What you’ll do

Own product features and user flows end-to-end, from concept through design refinement.
Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering to ensure designs are feasible and shipped.
Use user research and analytics to iterate on designs and improve UX.
Contribute to the design system, including participating in design reviews and critiques.
Produce polished, dev-ready Figma deliverables (high-fidelity, production-ready) for complete workflows.

Deliver high-quality visual and UX design that enables smooth, easy-to-use experiences across user types.
Lead stakeholders and partners with strong visual design expertise, UX guidance, and research-informed decisions.

Requirements

3+ years of professional product design experience with a portfolio of shipped work (consumer or B2B software).
Strong systems thinking: work within an established design system while improving/expanding components.
Advanced Figma expertise, including: auto-layout, components, and variables.
Technical literacy to ensure design feasibility and handoffs (HTML/CSS and basic React understanding).
Ability to translate complex requirements into production-ready, high-fidelity Figma files.
Strong communication skills—able to explain the “why” behind decisions.

Nice to have

Portfolio showing mastery of typography, grid systems, and layout.
Experience designing for merchant dashboards, checkout flows, or post-purchase experiences.
Experience managing or evolving a shared Figma component library (documentation and variants).
Interest/curiosity in fintech topics (financial transactions, fraud prevention, or insurtech).
