About the role

Role overview

DataAnnotation is seeking a Product Designer to help train and improve AI models. You will evaluate AI-generated design work—interfaces, layouts, visuals, and user experiences—then provide detailed feedback to refine the model’s sense of aesthetics, usability, and creative quality.

Responsibilities

Review and critique AI-generated UI/UX designs, mockups, and visuals
Assess quality of AI outputs for correctness and performance
Help train models to better understand aesthetic quality and user-centered design
Contribute to design-specific projects such as:
- UI/UX critique
- Product visuals
- Aesthetic evaluation (e.g., presentations and creative deliverables)

Qualifications

Fluency in English (native or bilingual)
Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required (current/in progress/completed)

Preferred / onboarding process

Apply via the general core assessment
Complete a qualification for Web & UI/UX Design
Once approved, work on general AI training projects and be invited to design-specific projects

Compensation & work details

Remote (full-time or part-time)
Choose projects and work on your own schedule
Design-focused projects: $40+/hr
General AI training projects: $20+/hr
Bonuses for exceptional work
