Product Designer (Data Loss Prevention, UX / Network Security)

Role Overview

As a Product Designer (Data Loss Prevention, UX / Network Security) at Palo Alto Networks, you will help design the next generation of DLP experiences. You’ll work closely with a Lead Designer to simplify complex workflows and create intuitive dashboards and management tools.

Responsibilities

• Design intuitive user experiences and complex data management dashboards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into:
  • use cases, flows, mockups, and interactive concepts
• Lead the design culture and help set design standards across the team.
• Create and iterate on North Star design concepts using advanced prototyping.
• Provide mentorship and give candid, constructive feedback.
• Convert complex business needs into designs suitable for leadership presentations.
• Advocate for users through user-centered design and deep empathy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with a portfolio focused on high-fidelity web products and data-heavy interfaces.
• Strong Figma foundations; ability/willingness to learn advanced prototyping, motion, and AI-assisted tools.
• Ability to translate North Star concepts into iterative sprints in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense.
• Experience designing complex, high-density web dashboards that are accessible, actionable, and optimized for browsers.
• Ability to work effectively with UI teams and maintain a working knowledge of modern web technologies.
• Willingness to solve systemic issues by failing fast, learning, and continuously improving through feedback.

• Interest in AI-driven platforms such as Polymet or Lovable.
