Product Designer (Autodesk) | Remote

Role Overview

Work remotely as an Autodesk Inventor expert, developing and optimizing 3D models and assemblies for manufacturing and product development.

Responsibilities

• Develop, modify, and optimize 3D models and assemblies using Autodesk Inventor.
• Translate design concepts into detailed technical drawings and prototypes.
• Analyze design challenges and recommend solutions to improve functionality and efficiency.
• Ensure design documentation and schematics meet industry standards and project specifications.
• Provide mentorship and technical support to peers and junior designers.
• Participate in design reviews, offering constructive feedback and keeping projects aligned with business goals.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication throughout project phases.

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in Autodesk Inventor for 3D modeling, assembly, and detailed drawing production.
• Experience in engineering or product design environments with a strong portfolio.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, tolerances, and materials.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote setting.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive technical troubleshooting.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional and remote teams.
• Autodesk Inventor (or related CAD) certification.
• Background in mechanical, industrial, or product design engineering.
• Familiarity with PLM/PDM systems and digital workflow optimization.
